Climate change changed the vision of insurances and their leverage in terms of risks regarding natural disasters such as storms, floods, torrential rains, landslides… Our goal is to identify how climate risks impact activities, and offer pre-hazard mitigation to reduce risk. 

A look into innovations, initiatives and projects led by start-ups in the field of sea and ocean protection for a sustainable future. Numerous Ocean Tech start-ups arise with solutions based on the exploitation of data or natural resources of marine origin and take a step forward in terms of sustainable development and energies. The goal is therefore to create synergies for industries, local authorities and public authorities to speed up the protection of the oceans and seabed by building on the existing ecosystem of start-ups.

Where are we lacking and how can we do better regarding the topic of Water Governance ? The session will focus on the blue economy, how we can take action for our territories, the challenges created by climate risks and the role of the Sport Sector in terms of influence and impact.
