Torn between collective needs and individual aspirations, between demands for greater productivity and greater well-being, between regulatory constraints and the desire for flexibility, HR is more than ever in a balancing act that raises the question of how to reinvent itself on the eve of a systemic crisis in talent attraction and retention. Personalization, flexibility and risk-taking will be the key words of an HR function that is less and less regalian and more and more emancipatory, but this will require a necessary change of posture and approach, putting aside the sacrosanct principles of precaution and egalitarianism, to better accompany employees, managers and the organization in their development.
